With the rise of traffic and relevance of social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter, and the seemingly declining visitors to blogs, I think it's a no brainer that now is the time to integrate your blogging content into the social graph!

And since Facebook pages are now more like Twitter in the sense that you gain "followers", which also happens automatically, this is the equivalent of email subscribers to your blog.
